Steve Paul Jobs, Apple founder, died this Wednesday with 56 years.

Steve Jobs, born 1955, changed the way modern technology is seen and computer is connected to some of the most popular and innovative products today such as the iPad, iPod or iPhone.

Jobs, son of a Syrian father and American mother, was given up for adoption and received by an American couple of Armenian origins. With an educational background very fickle, he eventually left the university and began his business project, after some ups and downs Apple turned out to be a great reference at international level and closely followed by thousands.

His fight against cancer began in 2004 when it was discovered he had pancreatic cancer, and eventually received a liver transplant in 2009. Since the last years he had stepped away many times the leadership of Apple because of his illness, but it was only two months ago that Steve Jobs himself turned away from the position he suggested that Tim Cook to be his successor.

Official Confirmation

Official confirmation was given by the company who left a note on its home page saying that the following quote:

“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.  Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor.  Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
